Conference Scholarships

CCPRO provides scholarships which cover a portion of the conference fees. The scholarships are designated for those who have never attended a CCPRO conference and for those who have not attended the conference in two years. Reservations

To reserve a room, call (800) 643-1994 and mention group CCPRO. Reservations must be made no later than March 13, 2010. The room rate is $129 single and $139 double, plus 12.5% tax. Parking is FREE! Reduced room rates are available for the weekend, and are $179 single and $189 double, plus tax.

Directions

Directions from the South
Take Highway 101 North to Santa Barbara. Take Garden Street Exit. Turn left at the stop light and proceed to Cabrillo Boulevard. Turn left on Cabrillo Boulevard and proceed for about 1 mile. Hotel Mar Monte is to the left after the Milpas Street traffic light. 

Directions from the North
Take Highway 101 South to Santa Barbara. Take the Hot Springs / Coast Village Rd. exit (left exit). Turn right and proceed along Cabrillo Boulevard. Continue past the Bird Refuge and drive to the first traffic light. Hotel Mar Monte is to the right of the traffic light. At the light, go right on Niños and take an immediate left on Orilla del Mar.

AMTRAK
AMTRAK has a station 1.5 miles from the Hotel Mar Monte. For rates and schedules, visit www.amtrak.com.

Conference Dress Code

Generally speaking, the conference dress code is business casual. Jeans are acceptable on Friday. Walking shoes are recommended, and dressing in layers is a good idea since the warm days often develop into cool evenings when the sun goes down.

Make it a Weekend in Santa Barbara!

Enjoy a multitude of things to do in Santa Barbara with local activities – from shopping to kayaking and wine tasting to playing golf. Just a short distance from the conference hotel, visitors can stroll through downtown paseos and quaint side streets to discover a collection of stylish boutiques, cafés, museums and galleries. 

With so much and so many types of things to do so close, sightseeing is almost effortless. Take a journey on the Santa Barbara Trolley for a scenic tour and learn much about the local area steeped in history. Hop aboard the electric shuttle, a stop right outside the hotel, to Stearns Wharf or up to the historical downtown area – only .25¢ per ride.
